Guardian Homes

🐾

What if you could bring home one of our top-quality dogs…
raise them as your own…
and be part of something truly special?

That’s exactly what our Guardian Home Program offers.

This is not just a “free dog” situation.
It’s a carefully structured partnership — built on trust, clear communication, and doing what’s best for our dogs.

At My Darling Doodles, our dogs are family first — always.

We do not believe in raising breeding dogs in kennels.

Our Guardian Program allows every breeding dog to:
• Live in a real home
• Receive one-on-one love and attention
• Develop exceptional temperaments

Better homes create better dogs — and that matters to us.

💛 What is a Guardian Home?

A Guardian Home is a carefully selected family who raises one of our breeding dogs as their personal pet.

Your Guardian Dog lives with you full-time — as a loved member of your family — while we retain breeding rights for a limited period.

They are never kenneled.
They are yours in every way that matters day to day.

During scheduled breeding windows, they will return to us for a short period of time.
Everything is planned and communicated well in advance so there are no surprises.

When their program is complete, we cover spay/neuter — and they remain yours forever.

❤️ Testimonial – What Our Guardian Families Say

Jessica — Guardian to Georgia

“We were nervous at first, but everything was clearly communicated and easier than expected. Georgia is truly part of our family, and we’d absolutely do the guardian program again.”

“At first I was hesitant because I didn’t know anything about dogs going into heat and what that would involve on my end. It actually ended up being much easier than I expected. I was also a little sad thinking about being apart from Georgia when she had a litter, but Jen kept great communication throughout the entire process, which made it so much easier.

Overall, my guardian experience has been great. Jen is always easy to get ahold of for my endless questions and has been incredibly helpful and supportive — even after Georgia retired. I always felt like Georgia’s health and well-being were a top priority.

Communication has always been excellent. I was well informed about vet appointments, timelines, and how Georgia was doing whenever she was in Jen’s care. Anytime I needed to help with something like a vet visit, I was given plenty of notice.

Day-to-day life with Georgia is just like having any other dog. We go for walks, cuddle, and she’s truly my best friend. She’s also an amazing protector.

I would absolutely do the guardian program again when my family is ready for another dog.”
